The photo was taken from the roof terrace of the Bükk Observatory by astronomer Erika Varga-Verebélyi, astronomy guide, with a Nikon Z6 with 13 sec exposure time, from a tripod, without a telescope, at 23:30 on the night of 23rd.

This year, the Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, Observatory and Science Experience Center in Eger, as well as the newest visitor center of the Bükki National Park Administration (BNPI), the Bükki Star, hosted the XI. The Role of Planetariums and Demonstration Astronomers in Education Workshop.

Our observatory also organises weekly night programmes with telescopic astronomy demonstrations.
