OUR LIFE GIVING-SUN – TOUCH IT!

The central topic of the Bükk Observatory exhibition is the Sun. Besides the effect the life-giving Sun has on the Earth, we show the star types, the life of stars, and the invisible characteristics of our Sun, as well. We present the sensing of heat, visible and invisible radiations, and what is more, we will guide you in this fascinating world with the help of holographic displays, holo-pyramids and augmented reality (AR).

THEY ARRIVED FROM THE MOON AND THE MARS

A meteorite collection, unmatched in Hungary, can also be seen in the Bükk Observatory, which, concerning certain meteorite types, means the biggest meteorites exhibited in Hungary. Our visitors can touch these stones coming from the space, and also, they can observe their structure with the help of a special microscope. As a specialty, you can also see meteorites originating from the Moon and the Mars in our visitor center.
